Organic Green Tea
Organically certified Japanese Sencha tea, Ichibancha, first harvest of 2024, asamushi, lightly steamed. The tea is made from the Benifuuki cultivar, originally developed for dark teas. It is a cross between an Assam variant and a Japanese cultivar, giving it a somewhat unusual flavor profile in green tea, with more herbal notes and a hint of floral character.
Origin: Shizuoka, Japan
Taste: Light aromatic nuances.
Appearance: Green flat short tea leaves.
Steeping instructions:
2dl - 5g tea at 70 °C water, 1 minute.
Pour out the last drop between
steepings.
Second steeping 70 °C, 20 sec.
Third steeping 70 °C, 20 sec.
