Green tea - Shincha Wazuka
The tea is harvested in early spring 2023, Ichibancha. This is an exclusive Shincha tea traditionally produced. Shincha is a form of Sencha tea harvested in early spring. The tea has a moisture content of 5%, which differentiates it from other teas. It is a fresh tea. Shincha is rare outside of Japan.
Wazuka is known for its high quality production of green tea, and tea has been grown in this region since the 1200s. Tea has in Wazuka since then been produced under similar traditional methods.
Origin: Wazuka, Kyoto, Japan
Taste: Balanced taste, grassy notes, umami.
Appearance: Green straight-cut emerald green leaves.
Steeping Instructions:
2dl - 5g tea at 75 °C water, 1 minute.
Pour out all until the last drop between
steepings.
Second steeping 75 °C, pour directly.
Third steeping 75 °C, pour directly.
