Black tea - Oaks FTGFOP1 China
Darjeeling tea from the Oaks. The tea is a classic second flush tea from China tea bushes harvested in summer 2017. The tea bushes are grown at an altitude of about 1500 m.
Oaks is not so well known tea estate, but was already established in the early 1900s. The tea estate is located in Sonada near Kurseong. Oaks grow only China tea bushes.
Origin: Kurseong, Darjeeling, India
Taste: The tea has a well balanced sweet taste.
Appearance: This Darjeeling tea makes a beautiful light golden brew and has green leaves in color.
Steeping instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
Second steeping 2 minutes, third steeping increase the time to 3 minutes. Make sure the temperature of the water does not drop, taste evolves with heat.
