Black tea
Hand-picked exclusive black tea from the first pick from Tsukigase, Japan. The tea is grown without the use of pesticides. (JAS certified). The tea is Zairai, Zairai is not a specific cultivar, it is tea bushes derived from the tea that originally came from China and was planted. The tea has a wild character with tea leaves of different sizes. This is a rarity from Japan, a craft tea from a small-scale producer.
Japan was a producer of black tea until 1955. After 1955 the competition was too hard and Japanese black tea stopped producing. Today only a small production remains to meet domestic market, black tea is not normally exported.
Origin: Tsukigase, Japan
Taste: Well-balanced fruity tea with sweet tones.
Appearance: Long whole dark tea leaves.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100 ° water and let it steep for 2 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 100 ° water and let it steep for 2 minutes.
Second steeping 3 minutes, the third increase steeping time to 4 minutes. Make sure the temperature of the water does not drop, the flavor develops with heat.
