White Jasmine Tea - Jasmine Silver Needle
High quality jasmine tea based on the unfolded youngest tea leaves, the white tea Bai Hao Yin Zhen traditionally scented with Jasmine flowers. The aroma of jasmine flowers is very clear, not only in fragrance but also in taste. The white tea is of cultivar Fu Ding Da Bai Hao and is grown at an altitude of about 600 m height.
As Jasmine Yin Zhen is based on a white tea with a mild flavor, the tea does not overtake the taste of jasmine, and the taste of jasmine flowers appears very balanced. This tea is dried together with jasmine flowers up to 7 times, that is what gives the tea strong fragrance and good taste of jasmine. The flowers are then removed. White tea contains the polyphenol Catechin. Yin Zhen is a tea of high quality, consisting of only the outermost undeveloped tea leaves. The tea is harvested only during a short period of time in spring and sundried. The tea has a low oxidation rate. The white tea has a very mild and nutty flavor that combined with jasmine flower makes a very well balanced taste sensation.
Origin: Fujian province in China.
Appearance: The tea is made up of hairy silvery needles. The drink is pale yellow in color.

Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 80 °C water and let it steep for 2 minutes.
Second steeping 3 minutes.
Third steeping 4 minutes.
