Gruzia
A black tea from Likhauri, Grozny, Georgia. Tea from Georgia was used in Samovars. This is an original from a tea plantation that renewed their production.
Georgia has traditionally since the 1800's had a production of teas exported to Russia and the Eastern Europe. Today, the production of tea resumed after an interruption in many parts of Georgia. In some cases relatively high quality teas are produced. The tea bushes grown in Georgia originated in China.
Origin: Georgia, Likhauri
Taste: Sweet taste of honey.
Appearance: Orange-colored brew, with whole leaves.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 2.5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
Second steeping 6 minutes
Third steeping 7 minutes
The tea will hold for several steepings on the same leaves.
