Herb
Greek Mountain Tea is a herb with a history in ancient Greece. The herb grows at high altitudes, usually above 1000 meters altitude. The herb is common throughout the Balkans, but grows also in other places.
The tea is very popular in Greece both for use as a tea, but also in cooking.
Taste: A good aromatic flavor.
Ingredients: Dried herb.
Latin: Sideritis scardiaca
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
