Flavored organic green rooibos
Flavored green rooibos tea with taste of orange and mango. This rooibos tea is called green rooibos, because the herb is not oxidized. The herb is heated to retain the green color, similar to the process of a green tea. The taste is slightly more acidic and as with a green tea, the rooibos tea has of this a slightly different composition.
Rooibos is a shrub growing in the Cedar Mountains in South Africa. Rooibos has become very popular in Europe. Rooibos contains no caffeine thus is well suitable for drinking in the evening. The tea is normally produced by the trunk of the bush.
