Black tea
First flush Darjeeling tea by Giddapahar Tea Estate, one of the very first earliest pluckings from the finest part of the production. Produced by the popular cultivar AV2 known for its sought after taste. The tea is grown here at an altitude of about 1500 meters. The tea consists largely of whole tea leaves top and two leaves.
Giddapahar Tea estate has been family owned since the start in 1881 and is located in Kurseong in Darjeeling. A great variation of Darjeeling teas are produced at Giddapahar.

Taste: Well balanced full bodied taste, light aroma, sweetness.
Appearance: Green whole leaf.
Steeping instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1 minute.
2dl teapot - use about 2.5 grams of tea. Pour in 100° water and let it steep for 1 minute.
Second steeping 1 minute, third steeping increase the time to 1.5 minutes. Make sure the temperature of the water does not drop, taste evolves with heat.
