Oolong Tea
GABA tea is an oolong tea made by exposing the young tea leaves for a large amount of nitrogen.
GABA is an amino acid that goes under the name gamma-aminobutyric acid. The substance is produced naturally in the brain. Drinking it as a tea is a natural way of consuming GABA. GABA tea is often manufactured in Taiwan and in particular for the Japanese market, where GABA is very popular.
Origin: Nantou, Taiwan
Taste: A sweet and aromatic flavor.
Appearance: Leaf rolled into small balls.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 8 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 4 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 4 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 4 minutes.
Second steeping 5 minutes, the third increase steeping time to 6 minutes. Make sure the temperature of the water does not drop, the flavor develops with heat.
Tea is suitable for several steepings on the same tea leaves.
