Black tea
A first flush black tea from India. The tea is handpicked and handmade. It grows on the small family-owned Tea Estate Doke in Bihar. The tea is produced from cultivar TV22.
The tea bushes are grown without the use of pesticides. The tea is rolled by hand and roasted.
Origin: Bihar, India
Taste: Mild black tea with a consistently sweet balanced taste, with a hint of molasses.
Appearance: Dark whole leaf.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 6 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 1 minute.
2dl teapot - use about 3 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 1 minute.
Second steeping 1.5 minutes, increase to 2 minutes on the third steeping. Make sure the water temperature does not drop, the flavor develops with the heat.
The tea will hold for a couple steepings on the same leaves.
