White tea - Silver Needles
Exclusive white tea harvested early spring, Pre- Qing Ming, first flush. Cultivar Fuding Da Bai Hao.
The tea is sun-dried, picked by hand and fully produced by hand. Bai Hao Yin Zhen consists of the youngest not developed tea leaves. The leaves are hairy and green.
The youngest tea leaves, not yet fully developed, contain Catechin EGCG. White tea is only slightly oxidized.
Origin: Fu Ding, Fujian, China
Taste: The taste is aromatic, sweet and mild.
Appearance: straight downy leaves of equal sized needles. Brew is yellow in color.
Steeping instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 8 grams of tea. Pour 80 °C water over the tea and let steep for 3 minutes.
2dl teapot - use about 4 grams of tea. Pour 80 °C water over the tea and let steep for 3 minutes.
Second steeping 4 minutes.
Third steeping 5 minutes.
