Black tea
An orthodox Assam tea from Nahorhabi, one of the oldest Tea Estates in Assam. The name comes from the Nahor trees that previously grew here. Grading FTGFOP1 CL.
Assam is distinguished in taste from other black teas, and is a variant of tea bush called Camellia Sinensis var. assamica. Assam tea is generally grown at lower altitudes.
Origin: Sibsagar, Assam, India
Taste: Rich flavor of malt in balance.
Appearance: Black tea, golden tips, golden brew.
Steeping Instructions:
4dl teapot - use about 5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
2dl teapot - use about 2.5 grams of tea. Pour in 100 °C water and let it steep for 40 seconds.
Second steeping 40 seconds.
Third steeping 40 seconds.
